How to choose truck refrigeration unit for your business

Step1

Determine whether to use an independent unit or a non-independent unit. Independent units are generally used in large and medium-sized vehicles. Because the compressors require a large amount of power, they need to be equipped with independent engine drives without taking up the power of the vehicle's own engine. On the other hand, the non-independent unit is mainly used in small-scale distribution vehicles in the city. The power required by the unit compressor is small, and there is no need to separately configure the engine. The engine drive of the vehicle itself does not have a great influence on the power of the vehicle. In addition, the actual use of the vehicle should be considered to determine whether to select an independent unit or a non-independent unit.

Step2

Determine the ambient temperature used by the unit .The required unit will vary depending on the ambient temperature. For example, in areas with high summer temperatures, the cabin needs more cooling capacity to maintain the same temperature, so the cooling capacity of the selected chiller should be increased accordingly. The selection table only lists the unit selection at ambient temperatures of 30 ° C and 40 ° C. The selection of other ambient temperatures can be calculated using the interpolation method.

Step3

Select the set temperature in the car .The set temperature in the compartment is also the transport temperature of the cargo, which can be determined based on the transport temperatures of the various cargoes listed above. In the selection table, the green color block identifies the unit selection range of the frozen goods, the red color block identifies the unit selection range of the refrigerated goods, and the yellow color block identifies the unit selection range of the unpre-cooled goods.

Step4

Calculate the volume of the truck. The calculation of the volume of the truck is relatively simple. It should be noted that the volume here is the inner volume of the truck.

Step5

Determine the unit model. After calculating the car body volume, then consult our factory and select the corresponding refrigeration unit model.
